Greetings from Door County! Clare, Addie and I are enjoying a relaxing (well, sort of) extended weekend with Karen and Jock up north. We've enjoyed Fall Fest in Sister Bay and even snagged a few ping pong balls falling from helicopters in the annual tradition. Despite the chilly temperatures, yesterday was beautiful with sunshine and temps in the mid-50s. Today and tommorow are expected to be not-so-nice, we have clouds with rain on the way and mid-50s again. I am helping Jock move several hunred pounds-worth of drywall into their new house down the road, hopefully we can finish the job today between raindrops.
Their new place is coming along... the next step for Jock is to install the heating/cooling system. When that's done the crews can finish hanging the rest of the drywall.
Even though the weather is far from what we enjoy here in the summer, it's still a great place to hang out. The girls are enjoying spending time with their daddy (I think) and we've had a big adventure each day. Not sure what that will be today, probably another trip somewhere. Here are some photo highlights so far.

Sister Bay is a great spot. We go up to that area every winter and usually hit the Sister Bay Bowl. How far is that from where you were staying?
