The weather outside is finally not-so-frightful. A beautiful weekend here in the flatlands of Illinois. We had another open house yesterday with decent traffic, but we're taking a look now at dropping our asking price by a few grand to make something happen. We'll see. Our "dream house" in Roscoe is still available, so we're keeping our fingers crossed.
Clare and Addie bid farewell yesterday to their cousins JB and Greta who were here in town for over a week visiting from Texas. They had a blast, and are looking forward to seeing them all again in July when we'll meet up with the Neimans and Wilcoxes in Door County over the 4th.
I have achieved a minor miracle by getting in my second mountain bike ride in as many weeks at Rock Cut State Park, so I'm loving that. Only problem now is, I realize my bike needs a tune up and something may be loose in the front end somewhere. All that hard-ass bike riding you know... ;-)
Work is great... I'm just now done with a monster video documentary project on teen homelessness and schools which posted to our website last week. We've had tremendous response from readers/viewers, many of whom want to help the girls we featured in the piece.
We are working with the case workers at the schools to see what can be set up in their names so people can donate. Some have even asked how they can contribute to college costs for the 2 girls. It's been amazing to see what people are willing to do and how the story affected them.

The Hankins are good, we're anxiously awaiting our move to a new home and all that will entail... thanks for reading!
