Go right through for MSU...

Saturday was a freakin' blast.
It was so great to be back on campus in East Lansing, even if it was under the cover of darkness to start.
We were able to get a great tailgate spot thanks to a 6:30 am departure from GR, and despite the cold temps early, we drank and ate our way to a hugely successful tailgate.
I caught up with several MSU buddies from days of old, and got to see a very close game go our way for once. And to boot, we got to make Badger fans cry a bit in their beer.
It was a long day- but worth all the effort.
Seeing the Spartans play at Spartan Stadium was a definite throwback for me, having spent so much time there both watching games and then shooting many of them the last few years there.
And anytime you can be surrounded by so much green and white, it just feels like home.
Swenson's absolutely clutch field goal with just seconds remaining made it a day to remember for sure.
A HUGE assist goes to my parents for watching not only our girls that day but the Richards boys as well. Knowing the 4 of them were hanging out with Nana and Papa was a big relief as we re-lived the early 90s.
Check out Meg's blog in days to come for sure-to-become-classic photos of us doing beer bongs on the tailgate of some guy's truck.
In the meantime, here are some lo-res pics from the ol' cell phone camera.
Sparty on!

Couldn't have written a better recap if I tried...definitely be on the lookout for some HIGHLarious beer bong pics. :)

And p.s.? Why does Brian look so disaffected and furious in that pic? Hysterical.
