Trimming the Tree on a Tuesday

When your weekends evaporate and you just gotta get a tree up at the house, Tuesday night works just as well as any. Besides, the crowds were all at home when Clare and I rolled up to the Valley View Farm last night to pick out our holiday conifer.
After we loaded it up in the back of the van, I told Clare how much I loved the smell of Christmas trees and how it reminded me of the holidays just smelling the pine.
She said she thought it smelled really gross, and that she "liked the smell of presents better".
Not kidding. It was hilarious.
